We understand the importance of setting forth and adhering to policies for the display of political signs in Alachua County. The policy we have set forth is as follows:

All signs must be located on private property and authorized permission must be granted. |

Signs should be located for maximum visibility with out obstructing traffic or pedestrians. |

Signs should be placed neatly and in an attractive manner. You will only get one chance to make a first impression. |

Signs should be located on corner lots and on entrance/exit lots to the neighborhoods. Each neighborhood should have multiple signs in different yards to represent neighborhood support. |

Present the campaign bullets to homeowners and ask for their support. |
| • |
Small business locations should also be sought out. |
| • |
Do not put signs on the right of way or in medians. This practice might offend some voters and actually can cost us votes. |

Each sign cost the campaign approximately $2.00. As conservatives we must use them wisely they should be recycled after the campaign is over. They can be dropped off at Lloyd Bailey’s Scuba or we will pick them up. They also may be kept by the homeowners and inverted for use as garage sale or for sale signs. |

Take advantage of the signs as an opportunity to meet your neighbors and make new friendships. We need votes. |
